Servicing Roanoke, Bedford, Botetourt, and Franklin Counties. We offer pick-ups in Moneta, Huddleston, Roanoke, and Vinton. Delivery is available to the Smith Mountain Lake region. Come by the farm during our farm hours. Wednesday- Friday 11am-6pm, Saturday 10am-6pm.

Our pasture raised chicken is grown and processed right here on the farm. We use locally sourced Non-GMO feed. No antibiotics and no hormones are used in our chickens. April to November, the chicken is processed weekly so we have a constant supply of fresh chicken available. Our chickens forage on our chemical free pasture and rotated around the pasture as needed. We raise Freedom Ranger Chickens. These chickens take 12-13 weeks to reach maturity which provides a higher quality fat content and meat. They forage better than traditional commercial breed chickens.

The Blackwater Bundle: Back In-stock Spring 2024

Coming Spring 2024. We offer a few different subscriptions for your needs. The Blackwater Bundle is a weekly bundle of our best produce and vegetables. Add chicken or any of our other great options to round out your meals! The Bundle is billed weekly and you can modify or cancel anytime.

All our produce and vegetables are grown transparently. We are chemical-free and do not use harmful pesticides or herbicides. Developing soil and providing quality notorious for our customers is our number one priority. Select vegetables and chicken to make our Blackwater Bundle a complete Farm to Table Meal.

Pasture Raised Pork

Our Pastured Pork is rotationally grazed on our chemical free pasture. Currently, we have several different breeds: American Guinea Hog, Kune Kune, and Berkshire mixes. All of our hogs are supplemented with local Non-GMO feed. We do not vaccinate or medicate our hogs exempt for parasites. We use Ivermectin or fenbendazole to deworm our hogs. This greatly improves their health and overall feed intake.

Hog shares will be offered for whole, 1/2, or 1/4 shares seasonally. Additionally, USDA Inspected cuts have a limited availability. Sign Up for our Newsletter to stay up to date on our current supply of pork.

Pastured Eggs

Coming Spring 2024, Passel Hills Farm will have Pasture Raised Eggs. Our Leghorns will reach maturity in the spring to provide our customers with a consistent supply of Non-GMO eggs raised on chemical free pasture.
