PHF processes poultry under the Poultry Exemption Small Business Enterprise. Legal for resale in the State of Virginia.

Chicken & Turkey Processing
Minimum of 25 Chickens to reserve a date. Call or Email about other dates available. Whole, Halves, or Pieced-Out options available. Vacuum or Shrink Bag Packaging available.

- How processing under the Small Business Enterprise Poultry Exemption works:
- PHF buys the live bird from our customers.
- We process them according to your cut list.
- We sell the bird back to you for the processing cost. (We just following the rules)
- Your Farm’s Logo can be added to the label. Please see the example below.
- The processed poultry can legally be resold by you to any restaurant, store, or individual within Virginia. Poultry cannot be sold across state lines!

- Schedule your processing date below to reserve your slot. Minimum of 25 birds to reserve a date. We can accommodate up to 150-200 birds at a time. We recommend scheduling your processing date before you order your poultry.
- Birds must be dropped off by Saturday morning 8:00am. Drop off times on the Friday before can be arranged.
- Please pick up your poultry Monday-Wednesday of the following week. Your poultry will be labeled and frozen.
- Cornish Crosses or similar Meat Bird Breeds: $6.25 Whole Each
- Heritage Breeds: $8.25 Whole Each
- Additional: $4.25 Pieced Out: Vacuum Sealed Packaging Only
- Boneless or Bone-In Breast
- Wings or Pre-Cut Wings
- Leg Quarters or Leg and Thigh
- Neck and Backs
- Additional: $2.25 Halved
- Organs: $0.75 Each
- Vacuum Sealed or Shrink Bag Packaging for Whole Birds
- Turkey: $1.25lb Package Weight
